Thank you for visiting my page!
This year, I am participating in The Michael J. Fox Foundation's (MJFF) New York City Run/Walk.
Sohini, my wife, has worked at MJFF for over 15 years and I’ve had a chance to meet many of her MJFF colleagues. Watching them at events and meeting them at the office has been very inspiring. People are so committed and passionate about what they are doing – trying to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s disease (PD). There are more than 6 million people worldwide are living with PD, which is a chronic neurodegenerative disorder. There is no known cure for Parkinson’s disease. As the world’s largest nonprofit funder of PD research, MJFF is working to change this. MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. And my wife and her colleagues live this mission day in and day out.
This year, our son Lukas and I decided to run the 5K to support what MJFF is doing and to let Sohini know how proud we are of what she and her team are doing.
Thank you for your support!
