you are helping close the gap on a cure for Parkinson's disease.

Runners and walkers of all levels, abilities and speeds are welcome!

Are you ready to get started?

Step 1: Register for the event
Registration Fee
Adults $40
Children (under 13 years) $20

Kids Fun Run
1 Mile Walk
5K Run/Walk

Registration for our Run/Walk will provide entry to our in-person event on Sunday, October 30 at Linscott Park in Swampscott, MA. Along with entry to our event, all participants will receive a race packet that will include a race bib and participation medal to be collected at our packet pick-up and on event day.
In addition to those items, participants will have the opportunity to earn an event t-shirt by fundraising $100 and an MJFF-branded tote bag for fundraising $500 or more. Although fundraising is not required, we encourage all participants to raise additional funds. Remember, your contributions go a long way as 100 percent of the proceeds go straight to high-impact research programs to speed a cure for Parkinson's.

Step 2: Set up your fundraising page
You signed up because you support our mission to cure Parkinson's disease. Now we need your help to raise additional funds for research. Once you register, you will receive a link to create your own fundraising page that you can use to collect donations and share your accomplishments leading up to the event.

Need some guidance on how to fundraise? Check out our
Fundraising Tips and Social Media Resources pages to help you get started.
Step 3: Earn digital badges
As you begin your fundraising journey participants can earn digital badges on their fundraising pages as major milestones are achieved. For example, when you reach your fundraising goal, make a self-donation, or even become a team captain you will receive a digital badge. See the table below for a complete list of the qualification levels for each digital badge.

Badge Qualifications

Step 4: Qualify for additional swag and recognition
All participants will be receiving a participant packet which will include a race bib and participation medal. To receive additional swag items, like our event t-shirt, individuals must fundraise. Learn more by checking out our Recognition Program page.

Step 5: Share your progress and tag MJFF
Throughout your training and after you complete the event, be sure to take a photo of yourself in either your race bib or MJFF swag and post it on social media tagging @michaeljfoxorg on
